Prasad Satyavolu

Native of Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, I was born in the early 1940′s in Chennai into the family of Satyavolu Papa Rao and Alamelu Meenakshi. I had pre-degree education in Govt. Model Secondary School and Govt.

Arts College in Rajahmundry. I graduated with Bachelor of Engineering Degree in early 60′s from Andhra University College of Engineering at Visakhapatnam. After a 2-yr stint at Durgapore, West Bengal, worked in Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd., Vishakhapatnam for over 20 years, in Engineering and Purchase. Then moved to Chennai and worked in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia till late 90′s. Then moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE as a consultant in the Materials Management area to the oil and gas industry. I am now settled in Chennai, where we own our home.

A keen follower of Cricket though never got round to playing except practising with classmates in Engineering college. Enjoy listening to old musical hits from 40′s to 60′s.
